I know people think that I'm trying to deconvert people, and maybe I am in a way. I just don't want people going through a long process like i did. It's painful. I care about people. I have no problem with Christians, my family are, my fiance is and her family is. I have friends that are too. When you know the truth on something, you want to share it. Just like when you come to Christ.
Interesting fact: There is no J in hebrew. Why do people still say Jesus?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28601458 No OP, it's because you're looking for people to validate your new disbelief in God.
You're looking for comfort in numbers, for people to back you up and solidify your loss of faith and turning your back on God.
You're doing that because you know, deep down inside, that He is real, but you won't allow yourself to say it, you push those thoughts out because it's scary now and threatening to you.
That's what you should have done with the original doubts, push them out and resist and say no. Unfortunately, now you're on the other side of the fence trying to defend and hang onto your falsehood.
Truth is, you will never find real peace and comfort in denying your creator. Never.
