Africans were sailing to America a thousand years before Slavery. See the Olmec's. Blacks sailed to America and married the native Princesses and traded technology and lived in peace. This is unknown to you, it is also unknown to you that the Masonic slave traders were mimicking the Africans in a sense by dragging them to America because they were trying to create artificially the society that the Africans and the Natives would have built together anyway.

Africans and Indians were known to each other and are drawn TO each other as this is the will of God, even the two continents fit together.

This is an idiotic statement. I find that people parrot this ideology. Let me resolve this issue.

1. "Black" is a color not a people. It is an extremely broad brush. Color racial labeling is a new phenomenon.

2. There were ETHNIC GROUPS of people in Africa that sold other ETHNIC GROUPS of people living in the continent at that time. Africa housed many nomadic people who migrated all over the continent to adjust to major climate events (droughts especially).

Dominant Ethnic groups in Africa have a tendency to admonish the smaller ethnic groups. In the case of the people who were kidnapped and forced into labour, those people were seen as FOREIGNERS by the Dominant ethnic groups.

This is how the genocide against the Tutsi occurred in Kenya. The Tutsi were seen as being foreigners. The Hutus had no qualms with slaughtering the Tutsi because they were a different ethnic group.

3. Africa's current issues were caused externally by European colonization. The Scramble for Africa in the 1800s drew lines upon the continent and did not take into account the various ethnic groups. Imagine if someone irrationally combined France, Spain and Portugal....and then said that the Portuguese were the ruling class.

I am Black.

Black is a designation to describe Black people who are the first people on earth.

Everyone was Black so they named themselves Black. They also named the soild Black because the soil is Black. Kemet.

Look at any sub saharan Black person from Mali and you will see that they are JET BLACK.

The Africans who sold other Africans thought they were selling them into indenture servitude which was common when one people conquered another around the world.

The majority of Africans who were sent to America were of the ruling classes and were highly skilled in Agriculture,Architecture etc. They were sold in a purge of the rulers as Songhai rose and Mali waned, look up the dates of the fall of Mali and the advent of the Slave trade in America.

The Chattel Slave trade was the most brutal genocide in human history and when it ended it was followed up with 100 years of literal terror called "Jim Crow" which was law enforced last class citizenship. That was followed up by Nixons war on Drugs where Nazi "Ghettos" were created in America to corral Blacks in pens of drugs and violence with low employment.

Reagan War on Drugs followed Nixon and the the drugs became more powerful and the PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX was introduced to create a permanent non voting under class and slave labor.

Welcome to the 21st century. Now that you know you cannot unknow the Nazi tactics, brutality and criminalization of BLACKNESS.

And I am unbowed and STILL Proud to be Black.

Now about that "War on Terror".....

The "blackest" people who I have seen were Sudanese, but the entire continent of Africa is composed of various shades of BROWN.

You cannot talk to an Igbo, Yoruba or Ashanti (which are actually made of smaller ethnic groups) and tell them that they are BLACK.

Ethnicity is your overall point and I'm not saying that it is not valid. I am saying that it came later. It is an honor to be "Black" because the first Men and Women named THEMSELVES and they named themselves Black. Though I could tell you my full ethnic background it is not relevant to this conversation.

I am not called Black to elevate myself above others. I am Black because that is who I come from even though my complexion may be brown or even light tan. For 500 years someone worked very hard to try to make Blackness shameful and they failed miserably.

I will only address one point.

What do you mean by "their own people captured them and sold/traded them into slavery"?

Hypothetically speaking.....

If Polish people captured Spanish people and sold them into slavery, are Spain's "own people" putting them into slavery?

At least use your brain and admit that one Ethnic Group captured a completely different ethnic group.

Re: Shouldn't African-Americans be THANKFUL of the slave trade?
People keep going on about wanting the US and Britain to apologise for their part in the slave trade in the 18th and 19th centuries, and so they should.

But in the spirit of going forward, shouldn't certain African tribes also apologise for cooking vicars in enormous metal cauldrons and stealing their top hats..?
Propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach...

Re: Shouldn't African-Americans be THANKFUL of the slave trade?
They hate the white man because they think everyone owned a slave. Reality is that their own people captured them and sold/traded them into slavery. Many other races have been subjected to slavery as well.

I don't see them jumping on a boat to go get some reparations from Africa. Yet they love to show their "African" American pride. Bunch of fools.

Re: Shouldn't African-Americans be THANKFUL of the slave trade?
yea blacks were slaves in america(wich is no longer a white majority based country and rulership), europe.....but other white ruled countries did not use slaves and blacks cannot claim they were slaves.............racial slavery (based on the topic country's orgin "America, Europe" is over and your a moron to bringup such a history. Should African-Americans be Thankful for slave trade? Truth is YES and NO it was all part of a racial intergration as slave trade vanished and Africans now are social class.

Your ass should also be thankful, African-Americans have fought with whites in civil wars where technology was based on guns, ammo unlike today's technological war.

But I'm not going to say African Americans should be thankful for slavery as it would be very discriminatory it's true though they would not be where they are in civilized society with cars and electric if not intergrating from the whole "white slavery" eventually to acceptance. You must be one of thos white superior attitudes..

Other ethnicity's had more skill in past history to get where they are today compared to africans as africans have to travel to a modernized area from non-african developed countrys. Everyone works together so Africa is developing better thanks to a combined effort of other ethnicities.

Whites were also slaves in past history and other ethnicity's and yes it was just as bad but african slavery seems to be more of the discussion of course because of your strange racial based thinking pattern.....

This has given them a step up from where they would be now. They should be thanking those black brothers of theirs that sold them
