The airport authority has the right and responsibility to see that business is not disrupted by irresponsible parties wondering around and handing out things.
Asking them to fill out an application and produce proof of insurance is within the same sort of parameters that public libraries and sports stadiums require.
Quoting: goodmockingbird irresponsible parties? Really? Sure. No business manager wants people handing out anything on the business' property unless their attorneys have reviewed what will be going on. In this case, the airport manager wanted Jones' people to go through the same steps anyone else from any other business to go through. Jones' website is a business.You don't see other businesses with representatives handing out literature in an airport. You don't see McDonalds or Macy's or Walmart handing out advertising brochures in an airport. They weren't selling or promoting burgers. They were handing out potentially life saving info. They are promoting the freedom to travel without harassment, bombardment of unnecessary x-ray or emf's to your body and interference. It is clear that you would gladly follow the sheep over the edge of the cliff. Yep, hard to believe there are still sheep like this poster on GLP.
