Quoting: goodmockingbird Asking them to fill out an application and produce proof of insurance is within the same sort of parameters that public libraries and sports stadiums require. irresponsible parties? Really? Sure. No business manager wants people handing out anything on the business' property unless their attorneys have reviewed what will be going on. In this case, the airport manager wanted Jones' people to go through the same steps anyone else from any other business to go through. Jones' website is a business. You don't see other businesses with representatives handing out literature in an airport. You don't see McDonalds or Macy's or Walmart handing out advertising brochures in an airport. this wasnt about advertising a corporation but to tell people about their rights u stupid fuck |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 744032 Canada 11/28/2012 03:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So I'm going to be the bad guy and play devils advocate...if they initial said they are they for commercial purposes (was somewhat unclear in the video) then the AAT may actually be correct. I had the same thing happen in a museum in Florida where I was taking pictures of models. We had a couple of large packs of equipment and clothes and although it wasn't intrusive and out of the way we were approached by security and asked "was this for commercial or personnel purposes." If it was commercial there were forms to fill out and I think a small fee, but for personnel use it was ok. SO...I can see the Airport Authorities stance if they initially said it was going on a website for commercial use. AAT has their own rules and regulations that people have to abide by. |

Madame X User ID: 628775 Canada 11/28/2012 03:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ^^^ Quoting: Anonymous Coward 744032 BTW, forms were for liability reasons and insurance so the museum, or in this case the airport does not get sued. For what, in case of a paper cut, lol. After dealing with the idiots that run security at the airports, can't get on board with you. Had someone close to me opt out, then had their broken foot squeezed on purpose by the security idiot. They are only dissuading law abiding folks from travelling.
