With that in mind, I'd hope that any UN soldiers haven't been nazified (yes, this is a new word I just made up)enough to see people as people and not the enemy.

I've have noticed that the Marines I served with 20 years ago are different than the Marines I see today. Same thing goes with Police Officers...they seem so ....I don't know...Robotic and unemotional...like their humanity was stripped during training and that in their eyes every citizen is a potential combatant. It really bothers me to the point that I want to shake them and tell them that they are still a human being and not just a cop or soldier.

However, I don't speak for every Marine, soldier, police officer, airmen, or seaman...it's just strange how they act and behave now...almost like they are programmed.

They started this shit when I was in bootcamp 20 yrs ago, drilling in our heads that civilians were slimy and stupid.
What does that tell you? Some of the recruits bought into the bullshit, some, like me, didn't. It would seem that the ones that buy into it are the ones that succeed into their careers and get promoted...the ones that didn't buy into it usually never got any recognition.

De-humanization, programming, and Nazification...that's the way it is now.
