My mother is a chicken,
breaking eggs, horror,
not just fiction.

She scrambled a whole flock once,
betraying laughter in her face,
golden embryonic yolk dripping from her lips.

Said, "What, what, egg!?
I put your in your place!"

Except,
she wasn't talking to anyone @ all,
because she is a chicken,
and she just ate all of her eggs.
