Quoting: Aunty Flo Instead of picking an individual energy, can you write an overview thesis on the energy crisis, the rush by countries for control of the last remaining energy resources, and the desperate search by scientists to find effective, cheap and safe energy alternatives. Then you can list each of the worlds current energy. ... Once again that is a GROSS UPROVEN ASSUMPTION. WHAT energy crisis? God you people suck at arguments and writing skills. WTF, you've already picked on me. Your troll skills are a bit rusty? It's not a matter of "picking on you"...it's a matter of writing an INTELLIGENT thesis. You cannot base a thesis on UNPROVEN ASSUMPTIONS dingleheimer. Get it??? :getwell: I assumed the kid was at school. I would be a bit more concerned if he was on here asking for advice on a university thesis. |

As for 'What crisis', if a teacher sets a task to write about an 'imaginary' energy crisis. You write about that crisis. If you don't believe it, write it as factually as you can as per approved readings. If you deny there is a crisis, not only are you not answering the question correctly, you are also potentially harming your academic career. |

Burt Gummer User ID: 7702124 United States 12/03/2012 08:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No its a general elementary class, im just learning how to write one. Looking for a good solid topic Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18173917 OK...so what did the teacher say....SPECIFICALLY. Usually they give you a handout with what to do....so type what that says...or she said....SPECIFICALLY. ....and BTW.....a general elementary class means it's not REALLY a thesis...it's just a paper or article. Burt Gummer User ID: 7702124 United States 12/03/2012 08:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK....essay. That sounds more like it for your grade level. Suggestion... 1) Pick a topic in life that interests you but something that has some debate worthiness. (Make sure you are working from a topic that has a at least a semi-firm foundation in fact and not based on HUGE assumptions to begin with. That's too hard to argue at your level.) 2) Find resources that back up your points of view. PROVE why what you say it right. Find books and articles that back up your assessment. Use them as your citations. No more than 5 or 6 should be enough. 3) Write the essay. Remember to start BROADLY with the topic, then focus more on your points/ arguments for what you are trying to prove....then go back out to sum up in the end (your conclusion based on the described facts) why your point is correct. The article / essay, 10 pages or so, should figuratively look like an an hourglass shape in terms of going from beginning to end. Start broad with the basis of your argument....then focus down proving your theory with the points and citations, then slowly expand again as you build your summary and final conclusion. Get it??? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1692520 Tederal Reports. Ask your Conress critter for local stuff. Inventory is measurement and they do oodles of it. You should write a booknoy just a stupid thesis. Give them a copy ofthe book for your thesis. At least make a Kindle book. Government is a body largely ungoverned. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28970751 Australia 12/03/2012 08:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Please, i need to write a thesis on the energy crisis... i thought to do it over fossil fuels, but there entails so much more! Quoting: SCHOOL PAPER 1692520 please help!! and i also need a citation page.. anyone?? THANKS!! Do not go into as much detail about the crisis as you do about proposed, and approved solutions. Teachers love that shit, and you get extra marks for correctly quoting, and referencing the experts. If it's just general ed, you can get away with my proposal above, you've gotta go where the gold star references are, i.e, the ones that are easier to access, and are more wildly discussed. Intellegent references will show the teacher that you've at least taken the effort to research the topic. Bonus points! |
