What Could Disappear
Maps show coastal and low-lying areas that would be permanently flooded, without engineered protection, in three levels of higher seas. Percentages are the portion of dry, habitable land within the city limits of places listed that would be permanently submerged.

Of course the NY Times is not quite this extreme, but can't have them scaring the masses too much.

I saw this in the NY Times on Sunday and thought it was something to pay attention to and share. Thanks for starting a thread. I was amazed that they took up an entire page with the info and maps. Very nice job.
The Continent is sinking much faster than ever thought.
Coastline is going under. This is part of the trouble in the Gulf - Louisianna is sinking.

Yeah, because everybody knows the news and gov is always truthful and they'd never lie to us about events, dangers, timelines or possible scenarios. Right?

Remember, there are other possible scenarios that can cause coastal flooding. This is just one of many.

This Navy map just doesn't make sense, from an elevation point of view. Those areas of Nevada, Utah, etc., would have to fall a mile in altitude in order for this map to be correct. And even then, some of those non-submerged areas are not as high in elevation as the places that did fall into water. I don't get it.

There are many versions of these maps. Some are not as extreme and some show much more land mass underwater.

It would take some earth changes of blibical proportions to cause that type of flooding.
Which it seems we are entering into events which we've never witnessed before.
They keep spouting off with global warming...but I believe that is just a cover for the true underlying causes of what we are seeing take place.

This is not about political views.
I don't care who delivers the message. It's the information that is important.
For the record, I'm not left wing, i'm not right wing. I could care less about politics. All the same agenda with just a slight twist of how they acheive that agenda.
I also don't buy into the global warming.
