My point is that once a wise and valuable truth is expressed, others cannot simply let the thread pass without the need to attack, degrade or insult the OP for their views.

Again, the issue is NOT with GLP. I find the sight very useful. My issue is with people that feel the need to attack threads that they know nothing about simply to kill or derail the discussion.

I used to believe that these were just young kids trying to be silly. But, it's deeper than that. It's about hate and suffering. These people are such tortured and damaged souls, they want to attack any deeply discussed ideas. They want to just strike out and anything beautiful.

People are so angry, fearful and lost that they want to strike out so badly, but are afraid of the consequences of doing so. So, they come to places like GLP to try and be anonymous so they can attack others without fear of retaliation. But, all they are really doing is hurting themselves.

The pain will NEVER go away until we understand the true cause of the hurt. Until then, we just strike out at others around us...

But we know the cause of the hurt..it's the chains and the deception that causes the chains.

Those that are still chained are mad at those that aren't because they believe the free ones aren't helping to pull the weight at the end of the chain.

Those that are unchained don't want to see their brothers and sisters as blind slaves, nor do they want to get wrapped back up in the chains by them.

The first anger is from exhaustion, the second is from sorrow.

Yes, the hurt is caused by the chains and the deception. Those hurting the most don't want to hear anyone's ideas about how to free themselves because they see it as hopeless and that makes them very angry. So like children, they attack the message like children writing on the living room wall with a crayon. Anything to attack the person that has found freedom and peace.

When in truth the person that has found freedom and peace is just trying to help them escape also...
