First time I've seen it in the purple range! Up here in the Lake Tahoe area it's been pouring down rain since about 10:30am. Lots of standing water on the roads, but nothing that bad, yet. If it rains like this for 3 to 5 days that will certainly not be good. Biggest concern is mud/rock slides. Hard to get food and fuel into the area if the major roads in and out are blocked. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Am as prepared as possible, but sometimes things are just not in our control.

Cali's been in the red on haarpstatus for about 3-5 days now, now we're hearing about the 3-5 days of rain they're supposed to get. I observed similar circumstances approaching hurricane sandy but the readings weren't red they were literally off the charts in new york.

What are they using for sensors, and how are they deployed?

First, there's no such thing as "plasma sensor", plasma is a state of matter, not a measurable thing. There are other measuring devices that use plasmatic matter to get accuracy in measuring stuff, like height, depth and so on. But you can't measure plasma, its just like trying to measure gas. You can measure gas volume, density and so on, but the not the matter state. The same occur for plasma.

Second, actually there is something called "Ion selective electrode", it can detect and measure ions. They're not that small, about 3 feet, and the good ones are VERY expensive, since they may contain rare/expensive material. Either way, even if someone or some organization could buy 28 of them, spread around the country, connect them to some server to get the measuring results and publish it on the internet, these sensors can only capture a specific ion range. Since people claim that haarp sends ULF(Ultra Low Frequency), an ion selective electrode will be not be able to match this frequency and no ions will be measured.
