I can't speak for your country, but here in Oz it is most definitely legit. I know a guy who has won it twice.

Sounds like a very very risky and high maintenance conspiracy though. In short, I think you're wrong.

I know somebody who hit the lotto in Pennsylvania and he is not an actor. It is a better chance of being hit by lightning but real people do win

I agree with the premise of this thread; however, I'll be not one lottery winner would go back in time and "not buy" the winning ticket. They may say they wish they hadn't won it, but if they could go back I'd bet they would still buy it!

In Canada its 100% legit. No conspiracy involved. Regular people win it.

Not true they did an investigation on Marketplace showing how its fixed over and over again..YOU THINK regular people win it..

My friend is our county tax man... I asked about the lotto,since he gets monthly reports from the state,, and he said for our area,, $80,000 went out for only $1600 that came back with prizes in a years time..
( We only have 2000 people in our county)

To top it off,, its all rigged,, as if ticket sales drop in an area then someone local will win a little prize to get people back in to by more tickets..

So its easy to see that for every $8 paid in to the lotto,, only $1.60 gets paid back..

Just a "fun" hidden tax..
