The word "ruddy" in this context is: Strongs Hebrew 132 (ad-mo-nee; from 119; reddish(of the hair or complexion) - red; -ruddy.

If that 1526 bible is going to confuse you, toss it or put it on the shelf somewhere and pick up a 1611. As I stated earlier it is the most faithful version in English this side of speaking Hebrew.
