It's well known the government has been funding terror organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood for a while, it looks like they've been supplying them with a whole lot more than 'money'...

My guess has been that the locals got pissed because they found out what was really going on. Or that TPTB needed this 'ambassador' offed because he was about to leak something.
