Theory on Reptillians

They are interdementional beings that take possion of the bodies of people by gates within the DNA code of the animal flesh.

As far as shapeshifters go, they don't really change or alter their physical form. There are aliens that exist which are capable of sending out signals that put humans into a dream state. Once you are into a dream state they can send additional signals that alter YOUR perception of them. It appears as if they are shapeshifting but it's really just your perception of them which changes.
