They, also, used to be a mascot for the United States. That was becuase of how loyal and awesome they are.

Pitbulls need to be extinct. They are like a shark. Sharks are deadly and Goldfish are not. Both are of the fish class.

My dog was mulled by one when we were walking on the public sidewalk. My dog survived but I took the pitbull out (killed it).

There is so much to say here, too much in fact. I will say this- Pit Bulls are an extremely loyal breed (probably the most loyal) and they love Humankind- BUT these idiots who want a "tough dog" can use that same loyalty to make a killing machine.

There is a reason these dogs are fought (and not just because of their fierceness)and this is because the "trainers" get their faces right down next to the dogs DURING the fight. The Pit Bull is very trusted to not attack a human even while fighting with another animal.

There has never been 1 (not 1) documented attack by a neutered Pit Bull (there is a very simple reason for this which I will allow you to ponder on your own) and they make fantastic pets...But when people who should never own a Goldfish take the responsibility of owning one of these dogs, and try to make it a "Bad Ass" (sometimes feeding it Blood and Gunpowder)- Yu end up with a confused and loose cannon.

-The ONLY breed I will own is a Pit Bull (except for my half beagle /half Pitt- Beagle Bull which I am stuck with but still love...Long story ,that.)

Correct, but generally people mean the "Red Nosed" when talking about a Pitt. (me and those I know)anyhow not a Spuds mackenze Pitt or any of the other Bully breeds.

No. Mine died. Had a beautiful friend, the sweetest dog I have ever known...BUT I have his offspring (who is half beagle and an asshole.)
