You guys need to educate yourselves on this date.
The mayans never said it was the end of the world.
It's the end of time. Then a new cycle starts.
It MAY however be the end of the world as we know it!

One is a great year, which is something like 26,000 years, theres another that is the long count cycle only 5125 years or something. Basically we're lining back up with the galactic plane and central sun and/or black hole in the middle of our galaxy. The planets are one big timepiece and we're merely a tiny part of that timepiece, yet a crucial part of the overall setup nonetheless! We line up with the galactic plane EVERY year. This is no different from our calendars resetting every 1000 years. Sorry i meant to say that our sun along with our planet is lining up with the central sun.
