And more to the point, cash has value now. No one accepts gold as currency at it's value, if you need food or water or other supplies that gold coin is worthless, especially if TSHTF. This guy has a hard enough time selling it for far below it's actual value, when the dollar becomes worthless this is just another hunk of metal, it won't mean crap.

I kinda laugh at the people hoarding gold, thinking it's gonna save them when times get tough. When those times arrive people will be trading in good, not worthless "precious" metals.

What world are you living on? There will be no recovery. We will be going back to the barter system quite soon. At least those of us that survive will be. Gold will be worthless.

Before this precious metals bull market has run its course, people will be lined up at coin shops (at least in the U.S., where such a thing exists) begging to buy gold and silver coins. The fact that no one asked Mark any questions about the coin, in an effort to ascertain its authenticity, shows that this precious metals bull has a long way to run yet. People in the West have been divorced from the correct conception of what money actually is. That will change, and soon.

He was intentionally deceptive. Laughing like it's a joke. Saying it's worthless Canadian money. He wanted people to respond that way and it looks like he's been highly trained.

The real sheeple are the ones in this thread, saying "Oh, he is right! He is so cool! And so truthful! Everyone he talked to is stupid! I would have bought the coin!"

Did you even the fucking coin? You believe it is what it is because HE says?

Sorry, I grew up in Chicago. I've had probably over 5,000, no joke, 5,000 people come up to me in my 26 years between Chicago and Atlanta, either asking for change, or trying to run a scam on you.

Most people, smart ones anyway, shut down immediately when someone from the street comes up to you offering you a "good deal".

How hard would it be to get a coin that looks just like the real thing, and do what he is doing? How should the people know it is real, in those few seconds talking to him on the street.

Common sense tells you, he already went into it with an expectation, as he EVEN SAID ON THE VIDEO. Everything about his body language, his approach, his laughing, his repeating "its worthless canadian money", and his simple one liners like "I just want starbucks coffee", or "no, not $50? How about for $20?"

That is exactly how panhandlers operate, and people know this.

People weren't running from the prospect of someone selling them what MIGHT be gold, they were running from a pan handler. That guy LOOKS like a manipulative POS, I would have told him to get fucking lost if he approached me.
