Duck Dynasty is Fake

Every tv show is a play and all characters are paid actors...What scares the hell out of me is how many sheep actually believe its all reality....

It's a good entertaining show that has rather good family values built into it. Of course a lot of it is scripted, there's no way those clowns could do the shit they do every episode and still run a successful business.

Not a big fan of amplifying the redneck stereotypes, but I think the good moral messages built into the program are a positive for people watching.

Yeah all those Repo shows are total bs with their fake fights and fake reactions.

When I watch these reality shows of people in their natural element it always seems to be fake. The exception seems to be Discovery channel, excluding a few.

I do not know how you could actually believe it was real when there is so much bad acting and story line loopholes.

Agreed. It's also very entertaining.

People still have to understand it's not completely real.

It's TV big guy; none of it is "real".

On the Repo shows, it even says in the credits that the scenes were re-enacted.

I called BS on the first 5 minutes of watching it.

See the problem with you people is u have to ruin everything who cares if its scripted or not either its better then the crap on tv like jersey shore and all the other shows that make it look good to be an alcoholic whore or a drugged up womanizer but that's not good enough for y'all not that you've probably noticed but they don't curse one time on duck dynasty they pray after every show and they promote good morals and ethics which is what America needs

Dumbing down America

What I like are shows like restaurant impossible, kitchen nightmares, the home makeover show. They provide entertainment and provide help to people. It's a model I think should be used more often.

I don't watch it, just because they look and remind me of some of my family.

Game shows are not real either. Nobody wins those prizes. They are all paid actors. Just another way the media wants to control your mind by having you stare at your television.

If you do not like the show then do not watch it.
I for one like watching the show.

I read an article by the interview by Si. He said that producers leave out a lot of things esp over religious stuff.

Still, it's pretty funny.

I'm still laughing over the fact that they bought vineyard but they had no clue on how to make wine. They learned that they have to grow grapes but they already announced opening party in a week. Just damn funny.

Yeah I'm with you on that, although I still love watching it, but it's like a staged reality show.

i've been watching their hunting dvds for years and the old show on the outdoor channel was better because they actually hunted.

but this one is pretty funny. yes it is scripted but it is very true to their actual personalities.

I called the cable company today and told them I'm not getting a reciever box in my house.
I told them that I wished to cancel my cable.
The woman was shocked.. What am I going to do now she asks?
She couldn't believe the fact someone wished to cancel.

They "made" all their money from gas and oil.

watch Duck Commander, then ask yourself if it is fake. The Duck Commander shows will show you that it is not fake.

no they made their money after the father got right, got off the booze and designed an awesome duck call and was able to bring his family from dirt poor to rich. He raised his children as God fearing and respectful to others. I plan to make a visit to the factory next time I am in Texas and take a drive over the next state to see them all. It is an awesome show and way better then the crap being projected on TV
