Quoting: Anonymous Coward 694452 Are you all armless? Haha! It's just that everyone does not age in such a negative way! Take care of yourself and you won't go out the same way as your mother OP. Work out til the day you die. Don't stop cheering for your sports teams. Take care of your teeth. Sweet spirits attract the attention of all ages. Come on now, just turn it all around. A person is not old until their regrets take the place of their dreams. :RelaxBreathe: |

LindaE User ID: 28582441 United States 11/29/2012 12:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just turned 66 and yeah, there are some drawbacks to aging, but then again, I'm still alive and doing the things I love. I still work part-time at a job I love, garden up a storm in the spring/summer and eat well, love my family and give a helping hand where I can. I'm a pleasant looking, slightly dumpy woman (so other females don't find me threatening) and I interact with people of all ages (I work at the reference desk of a fairly busy public library). I wear silly headbands that give my patrons a laugh (I take my job seriously, but myself less-so). My brain is still sharp, and I can work around my less than athletic body. Loving what you do, having hobbies, and a good attitude on life makes all the difference. Ask me again when I'm about 80. |
