Yes you do, this is how Our Lord desires it. You must confess your mortal (serious) sins to a priest in Confession. Protestants ignore much Scripture, John 20:23 to name one. It is a Sacrament, you receive God's absolution of your sins and His marvelous grace to amend and live a holy life. We need God's grace. Sorry, Protestants are misled. Reject Confession, you do not even recognize the New Covenant ministerial priesthood. |
