Firefox sux on GLP..
I run multiple browsers here.... not just here, but to 'sandbox' many things.....

firefox is always a major fail!!!!....

not- anti-firefox... just pissed off because it is a great alternative to the IE experience most people get duped into...

... top it off, we have to trial multiple systems with shop-bought windows 8 stuff...... argggggggggg!

off rant... no.. btw if anything needs a new flash update... i will personally shoot it......

Re: Firefox sux on GLP..
Firefox 3 was ok but 12+ is shit but its trying to compete with other browsers which fails it.
If you get a faster box it works much better you don't even notice the annoyances.

What exactly is the problem with Firefox on GLP? I'm running FF and I have no problems on GLP. None at all. I'm interested to know what your actual problems are. As a long time glp'er and firefox user, I'm really wondering just exactly what is going on for you.

Problem with Google chrome is the spying from Google, Firefox doesn't spy on you, well at least you still get a choice for it not to.

Re: Firefox sux on GLP..
I never trusted FF since it was a buyout of Netscape. Netscape was the real alternative, but was bought out.

Then I tried FF last year and had security problems with all the add-ons/plugins.

Even Google Chrome seems more reliable, and lighter.

It is funny, I remember apple's OS sucking until 10. Do you remember what happened between 9 and 10? Oh that's right they based their OS off an already existing OS.

I have had none of these problems with FF on different systems, but I only run microsoft windows and linux systems. So I cannot attest to apple's version of FF.

Chrome would be a better option if it wasn't for all the spyware. Also, noscript addons are a must for snuffing out all glp ads.

Yep load up chrome it will connect constantly to all these different IP's in your firewall.
I get Firefox on startup to connect only to 1 google IP which is search.

it's a conundrum isn't it?.. i find ie more and more secure because they realised they stuffed it royal with pipes to the world..... but even as they fix it, the world's authors are building bigger and better... what a web we weave...
