Anonymous Coward User ID: 28692878 United States 11/29/2012 08:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Which shower filters remove fluoride and other dangerous contaminants like aluminum, chlorine, etc? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27087017 Cause fluoride can be absorbed through your skin, right? Please help, I can't find anything online except for the fluoride neutralizer, I dont know how well that will work... It's not cheap, but you'll need a whole house filter to get the fluoride out of your shower. I think I read that reverse osmosis is about 95% effective in removing fluoride. but you'd better check for yourself. |

Bizzel247 User ID: 28792278 United States 12/11/2012 01:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a question maybe you can answer for me? I live in a community that has naturally occurring flouride in the water so they don't supplement here, but what is the range that it becomes toxic? I think we have 30-40ppm? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28434948 30-40ppm is pretty high. The area's that are fluoridated are usually 0.08 - 1.3 its more milligrams per liter that is the issue and I'm not sure if there is a conversion calculator out there, but law in the US says anything at or over 4.0 mg/l is considered toxic.. The natural Artesian Well water I get has .14 mg/l but it's calcium fluoride not sodium, and it occurs naturally. Hope this helps -Bizzel |

You'll feel refreshed after. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32455990 Stupid. You're stupid. How is wanting to block harmful chemicals from being absorbed by your body stupid? Why does anyone drink any form of filtered water what-so-ever? Why not just drink pond scrum and hope for the best? You're a fucking idiot |
