That is actually the point of it.
Can anyone tell?
How can anyone tell, this or that is the truth?
In the end it´s basically an assumption after all.
Our ways of thinking are based and the contrast-principle.
Either this is true, or the opposite, can´t be that both is true. This is why I use the coin. Example, cause it visualizes this paradox very good. From our point of view, we can only see the one side. The point I want to make is not, that I say, everything fantasized is out there somewhere, it´s a bit more complex than that. I rather want to point out, that our perspective is very confined. We cannot look at both sides of the coin at the same time, but we can use a simple trick and use a mirror. This simple trick gives us much more insight, than we think. Thing is, you can take the coin example as a synonym for duality anywhere in live and get a bit more into the abstraction. Our view is focussed most times on one side and only by chance sometimes, we pass by a mirror and then we have one of these "uh-huh! moments". Take this metaphorical
. Every definition of reality is based upon the thesis, that we can only except something from another thing. "If there´s reality, then there must be the opposite, the fantasy".
Cause we´re used to think in duality terms, it´s natural, cause this universe is based on this principle. But the truth is beyond these two sides and laughs about our attempts to seperate the two sides, that are like twin-brothers, so to speak. It is like everything, that you experience is only possible with a certain factor: time
. Thanks to the dimension of time, you can experience bad things on one side and good things on the other hand. They seem seperated and anyone knows that experiences get put into perspective and so something bad at one point in time, can turn out to be something good in the end actually. It´s like the equation of the ocean and the raindrop. You cannot tell the drop from the ocean, if it´s in there. You cannot tell the reality of an experience, if you haven´t taken the factor time out of the equation. And you cannot tell, that anything that is on the other side of the coin is fantasy, if you haven´t passed by that mirror, so you can actually see. And the problem, no one has this certain mirror. All we have are small hints and individual experience. We cannot judge, what we don´t comprehend, but still we do, cause we think we comprehend. Our definitions are not the truth. Words are very limited, but truth would rather be something like "everything exists" than "this and that is so and so, cause I can only see so far".
