I didn´t understand that to the full as well, but now I have a better picture of this.
It´s really quite simple.
We´re still the ones who decide, which energy (spirits) we want to work with. But most people are unconscious of taking care of your mental health. They just take everything in passively, like most are used to, when they´re watching TV. This society is trained that way, that´s why subliminals even work. We are not aware of the influences, that we´re faced with everyday and when we don´t take care and give in to negative emotions, when we become greedy or selfish and don´t see the others around us anymore, that´s when we´re attracting the negative spirits.
If they just come to us or if we really bring them into live doesn´t matter. We´re then working with them hand in hand. May it be, that we didn´t do this on purpose, but it´s like that. Most people don´t deliberate themselves to this point. Nobody teached it to them. Lifestyle these days teaches you "It´s ok, if you only care for yourself".
But when you´re aware, you know you want to do else. You want to chose, which "force" you use. And this is taking responsibility. It´s not that any spirit can indwell into you, if you are aware and if you don´t want that. It is an agreement. It´s all about will in fact, the Aries-principle, first archetype, the "I want" or the "No, I don´t want to!". The defiant child, who says "No! Leave me alone!" That is the power of Aries.
