Poor Households Earning $13K Per Year Spend Over $1K On Lottery Tickets
States across the nation rely on poor suckers to fund their spending. No, we’re not talking about taxpayers – we’re talking about lottery ticket purchasers. According to new studies, households earning $13,000 per year spend almost $1,170 per year on lottery tickets – 9 percent of total income. As it turns out, many people living in poverty make poor financial decisions.

And tons of those same households have multiple sail-foams, flatscreens, XBox.

Reemz on dare carz.

Along with stacks of Papa Johns pizza boxes from all the hot made-to-order food they had delivered.

Lottery Tickets, Cigarettes, Alcohol...

I wonder what all these add up to for the common poor man who wonders why he has no money?

I used to call it the idiot tax. But many of these poor souls have been brainwashed since birth and are victims of a truly fucked up system. The lottery is more of a tax on hope than anything.

Lotteries, along with cigarette and liquor taxes to a lesser extent are mechanisms by which the government gets the welfare money back. And it's working.

When I was younger I used to work at a bingo hall. Every 2 weeks when the welfare cheques arrived the place was full of people spending half their cheques on bingo. I had to quit. It just pissed me off too much

whats also sad is hearing how ppl will spend it for example" id quit my job and buy a mansion 8 ferraris, 5 slutty girlfriends, curse out everyone that i dont like and so on" it truely shows you how much of an asshole they would turn into if they had that large amount of money

Wrong.

Tax [taks]
noun
1.
a sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services, levied upon incomes, property, sales, etc.
2.
a burdensome charge, obligation, duty, or demand.

You might be poor if...

You rent your furniture.

You play the lottery.

You buy cheap Chinese crap from Wal-Mart.

You spend more on bailing wire and duct tape than it would cost to replace your leaky tail pipe.

Your TV is bigger than your dinning room table.
With freedom comes responsibility.

The same people I see in the casinos in Detroit... Spending their welfare checks trying to make it big. It would make me sad if it didn't piss me off so much. They can't, or won't, work but they can spend hours and hours in the casinos.

perhaps the chance of winning the lottery is the only happiness that they get. it allows their imagination to go wild
