Mercury has ICE frozen in it's polar caps? Wouldn't it stand to reason there's probably a sweet spot between the FROZEN ICE and the 400 degree equator surface temps that could actually sustain life?

If you think about how a star grows as it ages then that would change the position of the goldilocks zone. So that it gives a chance for other planets to become more habitable for life in other solar systems.

Most people think the materials used to form life are special well.

Thats wrong Hydrogen Oxygen and Carbon are the most common elements troughout the universe.

Hydrogen and oxygen form water, hydrogen oxygen and carbon form other gases like methan and other byproducts of living organisms.

Basically everything could be made of those 3 elements Oil, gas Plastics etc. are all combinations of hydrogen carbon and oxygen it´s the most abundent matter, cause of the way fusion in stars works.

The more rare stuff is all after Iron cause those only can be created under special conditions like supernova explosions in nature.

So if you think about it, it´s no surprise water can be found everywhere in space, and probably life can aswell where the 3 materials and a energy source is life could probably form.
