It already hit us. No advance warning with quasars, and still a lack of consensus about what they are. We're just lucky this one was not too close.

What the quasar emits is a form of light, as ionizing radiation, and the blast that they measured is one in the same as what hit us. The duration was probably very short for the most part.

Just lacking the date without researching it.

Gamma rays, X-rays, visible light, and radio waves are all forms of electromagnetic radiation. All of these travel at C, the speed of light. When you see the energy burst in visible light then gamma rays, x-rays and radio waves are arriving at the same time as the visible light.

I just posted a thread asking if anyone had noticed how unbearably bright the sun was today and I'm wondering if it is possible it has something to do with this quasar?

The quasar claim is based on the assumption that such objects are far away as indicated by red shift. But that may not be true. There is evidence (see Halton Arp) that quasars are associated with nearby galaxies and are much closer and less energetic than assumed according to current science dogma.

Oh my god was that shift hell for a few hours. I balled for 2 hours my head hurt so bad and my emotions just completely fucked up for a while. But my head has been popping ever since and I feel amazing. Never felt anything like that :)
