An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred 14 km east of Matane, QC. It was felt in Matane and nearby communities. [link to www.earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.ca] I did a little digging on the database and discovered that earthquakes above 4.0 magnitude in the above region (known as the Charlevoix Seismic Zone and environs) have increased as follows (over same period Jan 01 - Nov 29) 2010: 1 2011: 3 2012: 7 Thoughts? Hudsons Bay areas have all seen dramtic upswings in activity. There's been several 6 plus Earthquakes around Hudsons Bay and NWT. There was even a 5 plus in Central Alberta a couple of weeks ago that was deleted afterwards but screensaved by a guy over at PoleShift Ning. Its all up all over the World.
