A Mercer Island Police officer assigned to the multi-agency narcotics task force is hospitalized after an accidental shooting involving his own weapon.

...the officer was in the process of holstering his weapon after the warrant was served, when the gun went off striking him in the butt.

-Just had to share. It's funny because he won't die and I get he's so happy this is on the news. I am sorta curious how he hit is butt though? Oh, trigger guards are there for a reason people.
