Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas?

Merry Christmas. I will never be PC.

I celebrate "Christmas", and many other of the holidays. It should be "Happy Holidays".


One thing that makes me crindge is "Jesus is the reason for the season". That's a decpeition and shows me just how clueless people really are.

Jesus was born in the calendar Month Sept/OCT. Only hundreds of years later was his real birthdate moved to fit idealisims of mythology in associative nature with sun god worshiping.

I say happy holidays because it's a holiday season. We're in the holiday season and it won't end until after the new year. I'll say merry christmas at a christmas party, or on christmas, but the rest of the time it's happy holidays.


Also worth noting, I celebrate Christmas as an American. Not a Christian. I do not believe Jesus is the lord and savior and I do not believe that anything about Christmas in America has anything to do with jesus. It's about the economy and as such, I celebrate Christmas as an American. As in, I buy and make gifts for my friends and family. But I do not go to church or pray.

I love Christmas and have always said in my christmas cards Happy/Merry Christmas. My friend who is muslim said that if she sent a card during Ied she would say happy Ied

Merry Christmas!!!! Always! I always say it, and so far no-one has jumped down my throat for it. I will say that being in the Title industry, they've tried like hell to get everyone to say and write Happy Holidays, but I will always buck that, and say Merry Christmas!!!

This year it's Merry Christmas to all your friends, family, relatives, and aquaintances, and Happy Holidays if you're at work.

Once, about 2000 years ago, a man did come. This man would only late become known by the names Jesus and Christ.

Before that time, people were still, in a various set of ways, celebrating the season's time. It is based around the solar calendar date when the planet makes the full swing and starts the percession back around. This is a matter of persepctive from the Nothern Hemmi.

So the days were celebrated before "christ" ever did come.

"Jesus" did not come to start stupid holidays falsely based around a birth date.

However the bitch, the "Holy Church", thought it wise to create a holiday "Christ Mass", where they gave gifts to all those willing to submit to their false rule. And out of that Christmas was born.

Over many hundreds of years, it's changed in thousands of ways.

It doesn't matter to me here and now. As i've said I celebrate "christmas", have a tree, giving of gifts, feasting and such festive things, but the reason for the season has never really been Jesus and Chirst and "Christ Mass" is a mass delusion.

Trouble is, i celebrate christmas, but I LIKE "Happy Holidays". The Fascists are they that get a bug up their ass I didn't wish them a "Merry CHRISTmas".
