Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Mark 14:60-63 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22577422 The bible was written about 300 years after he died! It was written by some of the disciples, doctors, etc of the time who witnessed Jesus Parables etc. Also Jesus is written about in other literature in cultures like India etc. |

Elsewhere, scripture says that in Him dwelt the fullness of God bodily, and Hebrews 1 calls Him the "express image" (Greek charakter) of God. That's good enough for me to subscribe to a Jesus = God premise. |

The bible was created at the Council of Nicea by the Roman Emperor Constantine I in AD 325. Before that MANY "gospels" existed. Many rejected by the Christians. |
