Australian Government Claims It Was Misled By "interest groups", Announces Fluoride No Longer Mandatory, Begins Removing it From Water Suppl

Councils will not be forced to swallow the mandatory fluoride forced on them by the former State Government, with new laws restoring power to local communities to decide what goes into their drinking water. In a media announcement yesterday the State government said it had been misled about the safety of fluoride by foreign interest groups and had decided to return the power of choice to the local communities whether they wanted fluoride or not.
