Pope planning to change Traditonal Christianity?

Don't seem so shocked.
This is a part of a long process that will lead to the Vatican
Finally admitting that religion is a sham.
Don't you see it, all of these personal revelations lately, acceptance of groups, changing of policies, the modernization of the Roman catholic church. I believe they're either adapting to the modern world because younger generations are losing faith, or it is because this is the slow agonizing decline of catholicism as we know it. All fundamentalism should be barred outright from the church, that would be a big step in modernizing quickly. It's a fight or flight moment for you. But I honestly don't see the newer religions of the world lasting more than another 100 years. I for one, am quite excited for the prospect of a dissolving church. And firmly believe the world will be a better place when we start to focus on the human being and our place in the universe, and not the worship of allegorical figures. We should celebrate this revolution.

The bulk of the bible predates Rome, much of it was written some 3000 years ago and was preserved by Jews down the years. The protestants got their bible from non-vatican sources, they had to, the vulgate was so corrupted....

Since Jesus was invented by Constantine,as an adjunct to a christianity of pagan deities (Mithra, Isis Celebes etc.) perhaps he did 'found' the one great deceit... the RC 'church'
