Agreed!

I went to confession (and to church at the Basilica) with a friend yesterday. I had not been to confession in years, and the priest did not give me a heavy penance which I expected. I was told to say three prayers (I was really surprised), however I said more than that as I felt it wasn't enough. :)

Any how, need your opinion on this. My husband gets irritated when we go to church without him when he is working. He didn't like it that I went yesterday with a (female) friend of mine. I get lots of invitations to go to daily mass with this lady, however I have to turn most of them down because husband makes snide comments about me going to church with someone else. I did break down and say something to my friend as to why I turned down lots of her invitations (I think she likes the company as she is a divorcee, and her teen and grown kids live an hour away).

My husband and I and daughter do go to church once in a blue moon together basically because he is busy doing other things on the weekends so it is very hard to go more as a family. Any how, I think he is jealous or something, I don't know. I certainly do not appreciate it, I am Catholic, he is methodist so he needs to respect my beliefs.
 Quoting: Pa resident1

Once4All is a fallen away Catholic who will NOT discuss the
faith. He simply keeps repeating "Jesus is coming soon."

We know already and for a long time now. Our Lord has shared more, there is important prophecy to accept.

Pa Resident, I join Once4All and others in praying for your
intention. hf It's not right, a sin to not pay people for
their work or pay them little as we are all experiencing.
I have to ask...

Why discuss going to Holy Mass on Once4All's
thread? He's rejected the faith, maybe he attends Protestant Church on Sunday? Important...

Christians obey God's Commandment, keep holy the Lord's
Day by assembling to worship God together on the Lord's Day, Sunday. Church itself comes from the word "assembly." Staying at home to read the Bible doesn't fulfill the Commandment.

Reading your comments, I am with you, my husband and I are
not on the same page...evenly yoked. One day, both of them
will be though, Our Lord and His mother's promise.

I know you are praying for Once4All's reversion, so am I.
I am sad he banned me from his threads, that's his bonus being a paying forum member.

Protestants have to stop running away from God's full
revelation, instead, they should accept it. God bless them.

Re: Pope planning to change Traditonal Christianity?
The Original Mashiyach Yeshua was 100% observant of the WRITTEN Torah, as were his original talmid/disciples.

The ONLY feasts EVER mentioned or ALLUDED to in Ketuvim Netzarim are the same ones found in Wayyiqra/Leviticus 23, PERIOD, end of story.

So, if you claim to have faith in the Mashiyach, then you should be keeping Shabbat, the Feasts found in Wayyiqra/Leviticus 23, and keeping ALL that pertains to you in the WRITTEN Torah. This was the FAITH that was once delivered. ALL the rest is traditions, laws, and dogmas of men.

Shabbat Shalom,

Pope planning to change Christianity?

The idea that Christ was born on Dec 25 also has no basis in historical fact. "We don't even know which season he was born in. The whole idea of celebrating his birth during the darkest part of the year is probably linked to pagan traditions and the winter solstice."

Pope cannot change Christianity. He can only change the Christianity that was hijacked for a profit which is called the Roman Catholic Church.

Christianity is the following of the ways of Christ. Not much to change really. Leave that to those who do not follow and care about money and pedophilia.

Study and let the truths be known

Explain the importance of discussing God's natural judgments Once4All when you refuse to discuss the important, spiritual judgments, especially the reason for those judgments?

You can't keep running away, go make a good Confession. Jesus has made it simple for you to come home. It would please your parents too. Oh how they must long for you all to return to the faith of your baptism.

The Remnant is Roman Catholic. God hasn't changed, the most Holy Eucharist is #1, the grace of the Sacraments are needed. Why do you think God is going to show the entire world "soon" the Truth, the faith is Roman Catholicism.

I can't and wouldn't ban you, please reply.

Anyone reading this thread. God wants us all to believe the same and in His love God is going to show every soul on the earth this fact.

Do you see, believe dear friends.

Revelation 6:15-17 is going to happen very soon say the
messages from Heaven.

Stop with the anti-Catholic beliefs and threads. You are not
preparing as you should, instead you're going the other way.

Stated in the Old Testament and current prophetic, it is prophesied, the anti-Christ and
his evil will attempt to abolish the most Holy Eucharist.

Why would the anti-Christ do this if the Holy Eucharist isn't true?

Prophesied in Daniel, it is the Abomination of Desolation.

I have a copy of both the Jerome and New Jerome Biblical Commentary.

The New Jerome Biblical Commentary pg 1247 under the title of Roman Rule, (A) Birth of Jesus which attempts an exhaustive study as to the accurate date of the birth of Christ, the NJBC has the closest accurate date of Jesus' birth as

September 11, 3 BC

but " many more scholars prefer a date of 6 BC.

for those of you who don't know, the establishment of the Feast of the Birth of Christ, Mass for Christ...Christmas was moved to December 25 to allow Christians to move away from and erase their habit of pagan celebrations on this day to celebrate the birth of Christ. It is sad that most Christians don't know this.

Peace be with you.

The Vatican panic as they did before. It is very dangerous to rush to conclusion and it seem they had angered many. But the main culprit isn't that pope but the next pope who had given false information to this pope now.

Antichrist henchmen is manipulating and pulling the strings as usual. Nostradamus had given us many hints and keep your eyes peeled on that club foot frenchmen inside the Vatican who is being used by the Antichrist.

As though he said to that pope "Without me you would not be a pope now."

"The well-known solar feast, however, of Natalis Invicti, celebrated on 25 December, has a strong claim on the responsibility for our December date. For the history of the solar cult, its position in the Roman Empire, and syncretism with Mithraism, see Cumont's epoch-making "Textes et Monuments" etc., I, ii, 4, 6, p. 355. Mommsen (Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum, 12, p. 338) has collected the evidence for the feast, which reached its climax of popularity under Aurelian in 274."
