Thank you for correcting that. I definitely should have worded it much differently. Bless you.

This is pure Bible Babble.

The way some of you guys speak it sounds like the 10 commandments no longer apply to you. I think my previous post showed that as complete rubbish.

What do you think "Fulfill the law means"?

Jesus said

Matthew 5:17–18 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

When Jesus used the word "fulfill" he was saying to honour the law, to respect the law, he was saying it was GOD's laws. He was here to make certain his followers followed it!

Well he sure failed there, because they used it to steal everything from the indigenous peoples of the world, in his name!

Now if you limit it to the 10 Commandments that might be fine, BUT Mosaic Law is full of atrocities & crimes against humanity. By believing they are laws "from GOD' are you insulting the very GOD you are supposed to be worshiping.

Do you really believe GOD agreed with infanticide, slavery, ethnic cleansing, murder, stonings etc. If you do then I'm afraid you aren't worshiping GOD.

So either Jesus didn't know that Mosaic Law contained these atrocities... OR, it means something else, because Jesus simply couldn't defend Mosaic law and be divine!

You all talk this talk and yet it seems you really haven't understood anything.

You use the Bible as man justifying man and in doing so make GOD sound unintelligent. You make GOD sound murderous.

So the law hasn't separated the sheep from the goats... It has made most of you sheep and goats... and you defend Mosaic Law without even realising that most of Mosaic law is Sharia law.

Are we going to argue Sharia law is GOD given now?

Time to start thinking people - this is embarrassing

So, what exactly are you attempting to communicate?

You've thrown a lot of accusations out, but I'm not quite sure where they're founded in. I'm going to pray for you, Aussie friend. You sound like someone who has never really experienced peace.

I do not agree with Sharia law. I believe in making approaches in kindness, gentleness and meekness. Browbeating someone because they refuse to believe what I believe does not push the point across.

I think a few posts back you mentioned something about only being able to pay attention to what Je'sus said, but paying no attention to what his disciples said later.

To this effect I ask, if these disciples were good enough for Je'sus Himself, why would they not be good enough for you? Paul was a righteous man, and Peter was too (but he had one exceedingly foot-shaped mouth).

Friend, if you're living under the Spirit of God, you are not living under the law.
 Quoting: Nothing 9906991

Don't pray for me...please... It is breaking a spiritual law... Plus I am not quite sure who you actually are praying to.

You are reading your Bible with one eye closed.

Remind yourself of how Jesus became frustrated at times because people just didn't get it!

The first considerations for you regarding Paul (Sorry this is long)

1.What did Jesus say in Matthew 23 about Pharisees.

[link to www.biblegateway.com]

Now I was only really interested in one of the Pharisees – Paul

Acts 23:6 “But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.”

WOW! So now where does Paul show his true Pharisee colours? Remember Satan is rather tricky and devious according to you guys!

1 Corinthians 14:34-35 “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.”

Where did Jesus preach this? So by posting here as a woman are women breaking a law, a commandment stated by Paul! I know he is wrong, but do you?

But there is more -

1 Timothy 2:11-14 “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

So if a woman is trying to teach a man, by posting here, they are also breaking a law stated by Paul! I know he is wrong, but do you?

Paul was just a man! And yet he continued the discrimination against women for a further 2000 years and beyond!

1 Corinthians 11:6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.

Where did Paul's righteousness disappear to?

Yes this one Pharisee has authorized 50% of the population to be discriminated against!

So if you believe Paul - should women stop talking on religious matters and only discuss things with their husbands?

I'm sure you have missed most of this in your studies BUT I am opening your closed eye.

Also note - Paul lied in 1 Timothy 2:11-14 to justify his oppression of women “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

What Adam didn't eat of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil? Adam wasn't tempted? That is totally untrue!

Genesis 3:6 "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."

But there is an even bigger problem!

God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.

Jesus (the Son of God) gave two commandments although the first is re-stating Commandment 1 of the 10 commandments.

Mark 12:30-31 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

And the second like it, is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

Are commandments laws? So much for not living under the law!

But hang on Paul a man, and a Pharisee (remind yourself about what Jesus thought of Pharisees in Matthew 23) says this –

1 Corinthians 14:37 “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.”

Can a man make a commandment – Answer NO! Paul certainly got a bit full of himself here. But no-one notices... Did you know he wrote these things?

If these are commandments from the Lord as Paul claims you had better by some shears to get those uncovered heads in Church shorn. 1rof1

Jesus (the Son of God) made 1 extra commandment BUT Paul says all his instructions are commandments!

So you see your dilemma. Everything Paul said was a commandment from the Lord, he mentions "the law" when telling women to refer to their husbands only, and he teaches things Jesus never said. Should women be shorn?

So who do you believe Jesus or Paul?

If you believe in Jesus’, the Son of God's teachings over Paul’s teachings why hasn’t anyone pointed this out to you?

Why didn’t you notice these problems? If you didn't you are studying poorly.

Why didn't your Preacher teach you this vital information?

I didn't say don't pay attention to the disciples... I said men are often wrong.

Paul is obviously wrong but in his being wrong he wrongs 50% of the population in one fell swoop - WOMEN!

Do you still wish to maintain Paul's righteousness or is that just another Bible Babble word?

So here you have a set of books called the Bible where you can intimately study what Jesus (the Son of GOD says) is alleged to have said and yet you keep wanting to study and quote man.

May your eyes be opened so that you might see!

Please pray for yourself!

peace

Friend, instead of taking one verse and using to to convey a meaning, use a few verses up, and a few verses down.

Single verses by themselves also have context to the chapter they are written in.

Also, bear in mind the purpose of the epistles to the churches was because they had already gotten off-base from the original visits.

I pray to Yeshua, and will continue to pray to Yeshua; because He IS the Son of God.

And I will maintain that Paul was indeed righteous.
I will not pray to Paul, but I will maintain that he was a righteous man indeed. The Lord used him to do much work.

Will continue to pray for you, friend.
Take care.

Re: Christian here, talk to me:
It is impossible for a human being to properly keep the law. Only Christ was without sin.

When I was around 8 or 9 years old......I was able to read and understand the ten commandments.

I then deliberately chose to go out and break the law. Perhaps it was stealing some change......or a fib to my mother.

That very first sin killed me.....separated me from God.....God is Holy.

That is why Christ told Nicodemus....."Marvel not, you must be born again."

When a person gives their life to Christ.....they are immediately born again.....indwelt by the Holy Spirit.....re-connected with God.....and declared "not guilty"......based on what Christ did on the cross.

For those people.....Christ has paid the punishment.

Those born again are clothed in the righteousness of Christ......and seen as white by the Father.

If you have a red blotch on a white piece of paper......and look at it through a red filter.....it appears as white.

And as such......though I am a wretched sinner......with a million or so sins......God views me as white. Christ has already taken the punishment which I deserved.

God's grace.....unmerited favor.....has been bestowed upon me.

And as such, Christ is now my first love.

If you still consider Paul as righteous after all I have shown you the so be it. I can only show you what the Bible says... I can't force you to understand it.

Thanks for the advice about reading multiple verses... Do you take your own advice? 1rof1

Please don't call me friend it makes you sound insincere. I am NOT your friend!

Also do not pray for me ... I have asked, now I insist!

You are probably a nice person... naive but nice!

Re: Christian here, talk to me:
I haven't been baptized by water, God has baptized me through the spirit of The Holy Ghost, who by the way is Mother Earth. Mother Earth conceived me on this Planet, so she is part of me, and I'm part of her.

After my Awakening, I have tried hard, to find where The Great fine man in Jesus, lies in my body, mind and spirit.

I have looked into my heart, and only found the higher me. I had looked at my body, only to find Mother earth, I had looked at my conscious, only to find The Father.

I desperately tried to find him, because I love him, as I do with everything that breaths on this planet.

So I look at the "The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit" is the same as the Body, Mind, Soul. The Body is the Mother, Mind is the Father, the Soul is the Higher Me.

So! looking at it, from my point of view, it is The Higher Me, that is going to save me, and connect me to the Mother and Father. It's a work in progress, and not be magically done,

But, where is Jesus? he is part of the Higher Me, he is part of my higher consciousness. So in reality he is part of everyone's higher consciousness.

So! it's up to us to work on connecting The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, as one unite, it's unity at it's divine core. Faith is in oneself not outside oneself.

Please pray for yourself!

peace

Re: Christian here, talk to me:

The first considerations for you regarding Paul (Sorry this is long)

Faith is in oneself not outside oneself.

the bolded comment is not true as to baptism by the holy ghost. Hoever, Mother Earth is a daughter of Nebadonia, our local universe mother spirit, who is a daughter of the Infinite Spirit, 3rd person trinity.

If you are baptized by the holy spirit, it means you have raised your kundalini to your crown, did you do that? If not, you have not yet been baptised by the Holy Spirit. And actually the baptism coming is the cosmic WAVE/Fire from Paradise which will raise the kundalini in those ready, who have not yet accomplished the full process on their own. a Lot of christians I know claimed to be baptised by the Holy Spirit and they are not even close and I doubt they will be so when the final wave of cosmic fire comes.
The actual Lord's Prayer Given by Jesus 2000 years ago.

"MY SPIRIT, YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT. YOUR NAME IS HOLY. MAY YOUR REALM BE INCARNATE IN ME. MAY YOUR POWER REVEAL ITSELF WITHIN ME, ON EARTH AND IN THE HEAVEN. GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. FOR YOURS IS THE REALM WITHIN ME AND THE POWER AND THE KNOWLEDGE FOREVER,

I still think I was baptized by the Holy Spirit. The high I felt was enormous. I actually felt like I was God. I felt really powerful, that I could actually, move mountains, open up portals, etc. I was literally spooked by this power.

Not only that, the energy bubble that I was in, the air was clean, and thin. Outside of this bubble, the air was thick like molasses, dark, and not pure, as everything was flowing like waves. My furniture, walls and everything was distorted.

This lasted about a minute, I tried to force myself out of it, because the high was getting intense, as was the feeling of power.

After, the started to come down, I went to tell my girlfriend as to what just happened, my energy just went kaput. I couldn't speak, I was cold, and I was scared.

Weird things started, to happen to me afterwards but that is another story.

Something hit me hard, and what it showed me was, the ability for what I was able to become, as it also showed me what kind of gifts I could achieve.

Even if it is Mother Nebadonia, we are still connected to Mother Earth, as I said, we were born on her planet and have her physical, make-up. She provides us the resources to live on this planet for free. We are one with her, and she is one with us. She also has a conscious, like us. You treat her with love, and she will return it to you.

There is no book in the world would change my mind on Mother Earth not being part of us. The real book is in the Heart, and that's all we need to know. Making connections, to the Spirits that make us one.

Take care.

Fell free to stay blind... It is your choice!

I probably came across as a bit harsh in this last post and I wasn't meaning to be.

The point I am making regarding Paul is this.

If Paul's terribly flawed teachings on women have caused women to be oppressed by religions and society for a further nearly 2000 years, and those teachings are not what Jesus taught, then they are ONLY the teachings of man.

If a person, like Paul, can cause such oppression to 50% of the population over such a long period how can he be called righteous?

Sure he did some good things - like all of us - but the acceptance of this sort of oppression is unfathomable and unconscionable, isn't it?

The passage that echoes in my mind is this one

Mark 7:7-9 Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.

For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.”

Then he said, “You skilfully sidestep God’s law in order to hold on to your own tradition.

So based on Paul's teachings added to the effects of those teachings and the differences between those and Jesus' teachings I can't accept Paul as anything more than a man with an opinion.

If we are judged on sin, by GOD, then Paul's oppressive teachings, about women, have to be up there with some of the most horrendous teachings ever.

Ignore them if you choose... BUT I will not and can not!

People have to study the Bible with an analytical mind, afterall that is one of your gifts from GOD. Weren't we made in his image?

To study it with a totally accepting mind, reading over the atrocities and the oppression and believing they are from GOD says to me at least that you just can't be using the most precious gift from GOD - your inquiring minds.

BUT worse - believing that GOD inspired such atrocities and the oppression of women so eagerly picked up by the churches to me is the greatest insult to GOD.

He wouldn't agree to such things!

I guess I defend GOD more than so called Christians do because I refuse to believe that he could be evil in the ways the Bible presents.

My final piece of evidence for your consideration and to prove my point about man's teachings being represented as from GOD.

According to the GOOD Book he allegedly condones terminations and using curses to test a woman's fidelity.

What is the test for a man's fidelity?

If this wasn't so serious it would be laughable!

Numbers 5:16-22 (NIV) “‘The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the Lord."

Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water.

After the priest has had the woman stand before the Lord, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder-offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse.

Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you.

But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”—

here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—“may the Lord cause you to become a curse among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell.

May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.”

“‘Then the woman is to say, “Amen. So be it.”

Do you really believe GOD would have ordered MOSES to instruct the priests to put "tabernacle dust in the holy water"?

How can anyone believe for a second GOD would give such an outrageously stupid & obscene instruction?

Dusty water anyone?

Explain Matthew 20:16.

Ty.
 Quoting: Pyractomena borealis

I'll have a go at it. These verses are all warning verses to believers.

Matthew 20:16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.

AND

Matthew 19:30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

AND

Mark 10:31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

AND

Luke 13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Look at how some of the "self professing" believers treat people on this site.

If you disagree with anything they call you a Satanist, or working for Satan. They threaten hellfire and damnation on people who don't conform with their very limited understanding & knowledge of scripture.

They are just believers... BUT have never actually engaged their minds as to what believing really means. If it is in the Bible, it must be true, is the depths of their thinking methodology.

These verses speak directly to them.

They think & assume they are first, and in their minds at least, they maybe in the now BUT will they be LAST?

They defend Mosaic law without understanding the consequences or the detail of what Moses allowed.

Kindergarten Christians defend Moses and Paul even though both have oppressed women for millennia with their "unGodly" teachings. (see my postings on Paul above).

How can someone's teachings oppress 50% of the population, WOMEN, for nearly 2000 years and be "from GOD"?

How many innocent women were murdered through history under Mosaic law?

They simply believe all the crap that has been fed to them by unknowing and ill-informed preachers, and yet they presume to criticise & threaten others.

Are they just uneducated fools trying to educate others based on their lack of knowledge?

Are they the ones with the logs in their eyes trying to remove the specks in their brothers?

Matthew 7:3-5 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

They forget Jesus said

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Well who are the spiritually poor amongst us? Could an atheist or an agnostic be considered spiritually poor?

ANSWER : YES!

Would an atheist or agnostic threaten hellfire and damnation on others?

NO, Of course they wouldn't!

Do atheists and agnostics misrepresent GOD?

NO, Of course they don't!

Do atheists and agnostics have the gall to pretend to speak on behalf of GOD?

NO, Of course they don't!

So if you openly declare yourself to be "a Christian" and "born again" and do these things should you actually pay attention & listen to what these verses are shouting at you!

STOP believing everything you are told, or have read in the Bible. THINK!

Analyse it and ask this simple question

"Would GOD condone or do such a thing?"

Use the analytical mind you have been given and THINK!

My posts on Paul above, will indicate to most how little they have really thought about what they "choose" to believe.

If you actually believe that GOD would oppress 50% of the population, (women), as presented by Paul and Moses do you really believe in a loving GOD?

If you actually believe that "YOUR ALLEGED GOD" approved of and ordered the murders, the infanticide, the slavery, the stonings, the war crimes & the atrocities presented as "FROM GOD" in Mosaic law - perhaps you should go back to Bible 101, stop lecturing and start again...

Remember!

Matthew 20:16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.

If you think you are saved... BEWARE!

Re: Christian here, talk to me:
I'm sorry that I showed how flawed the Bible and Christian teachings are OP. It is not the only thread that I have shown the flawed thinking of believers.

I hope people actually stop and think, when I present these things, because allegedly people want to know the truth.

Surely it's time to analyse these old dusty books properly and truly understand the nature of GOD.

All the GOD blessing, pretty pictures, flawed You Tube videos etc are a waste of time when you accept as the Bible teaches that GOD is often unGODly.

Surely when presented with the evidence, from the Bible, people will realise that what most preachers preach is simply wrong.

I'm sorry if the truth ruined your thread!

Why does your savior teach charity, tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness while your church teaches greed, intolerance, ostracism and a proprietary hold on heaven?
