This was after googling for their dry, rashy skin and trying a bunch of other stuff. Let me tell you, coconut oil is like a miracle! The rashes are gone, their fur is soft and silky, they are perkier and happier - I swear, it's crazy but true. That stuff is magic! And they love it so much they'll eat it off the spoon AND it smells yummy AND it doesn't reek like the fish oil which didn't really work anyway. It is a bit pricey tho for as much of it as they need. |

You can tell because when you drink it if it is cold you really feel it go through your blood stream right away. It does have the same osmolality as our own blood plasma and was used in the south pacific in WW2 in place of plasma. This is a fact. I think it is a great drink with about 180 cal./liter and a good source of K+ about 470mg, NA+ 42mg, MG+ 18mg and 10g carbs. duncog2012 |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28751458 Don't believe everything you read. The preferred type of coconut oil for soapmakers is HYDROGENATED coconut oil, and I would not eat that. You can only buy that at soapmaking outlets (I order mine on the Internet in 50 lb. buckets). However, the edible coconut oil we are talking about here is not hydrogenated. Virgin or unrefined is what you'll find at the supermarkets. There is a big difference. Maybe you should ask you boss to research the products more before taking all of it off the shelf? You may be taking a good thing off the shelf and losing money because of it. |
