Oil pulling is great for teeth and overall health. Alzheimer's and most other chronic illnesses (including cancer) are infectious diseases and since coconut oil is anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal it helps in many ways. [ link to www.coconutresearchcenter.org] I googled it after I saw it in this thread...I'm going to have to try it now! I have been using coconut oil for the past 12 years for everything. Alternative medicine has used it for a very long time and I'm happy it's starting to become more mainstream. It's amazing. My dentist now recommends oil pulling to all her patients. Of course she is a wholistic dentist so she knows her stuff. :)
