Why hasn't China collected on America's debt.....yet? | |

We print the world's trade currency dollar as fast as we need it and China accepts it as payment because their yuan is not the world's trade currency. They would love to change that fact but can't. |

I believe they will tank our currency fully before 2014. Once they feel they've stolen every piece of intellectual know-how and technology they can and we become of no further use to them. It was NOT about "bailing out Wall Street.) China and possibly Russia were behind the largest run on the dollar to date. Quoting: Anonymous 1342725 Americans have been fed a narrative that we are Chinas debtor to conceal the fact we owe 13 trillion to the federal reserve. Furthermore, the elites of all countries minus a few have colluded to enslave us all. To create a new world order. Wake the fuck up. Anonymous 1342725 |

You don't think the "created" housing bubble had anything to do with the U.S. printing dollars and devaluing the dollar? Or that China "had" to dump dollars to protect it's own economy because they had such a huge investment in something that was rapidly losing value? Agree our currency will probably tank but as for the cause.... |

It sounds like saying, HSBC, Mastercard, Discover, Visa, are all nothing without me. I occasionally let them finance a book for me. The thing is, I pay the balance after it's charged. What if I, along with millions of other people, instead of charging books, were charging houses, and were unable or had no intentions of repaying? I, along with millions, would be out of my home and the financers be out of business without .gov intervention, like Fannie and Freddy. Greed. No one wins. |

On the other hand, America is more than capable to be self sufficient, we just chose not too because why pay our workers $15 an hour when we can pay Chinese workers 50 cents an hour. Without China exporting to America, they have nothing. |

Stall or refuse repayment. Pretty simple. You can't eat money. Maybe we already have? Without a doubt, they've counted on the speculation you named, and unlike us, have back up plans to ensure their survival. -------------------------------------- US agricultural exports to China become costly in times of drought Experts say the US drought will be little more than a nuisance for China, but a nuisance that a transitioning Chinese government could do without. First, though China buys a lot of US agricultural products, it is nearly self-sufficient in terms of basic food staples, such as rice and wheat. This is no accident: famine and food shortages have repeatedly led to unrest throughout China’s history, not least in the disastrous Great Leap Forward that killed roughly 20 million between 1958 and 1961. As a result, the government has deliberately sought to cultivate domestic food supplies, and minimize dependence on the global market. [link to www.globalpost.com] |
