In the 80's, was it "cool" to practice Satanism?
I ask because a lot of my male relatives who were teens then, did stupid shit like rituals with cattle blood etc (bought from store). Most them now are devoted Christians.

It was to a certain extent among a certain crowd. The devil metal had much to do with it, though not always. I remember a black kid about 1987 reading The Satanic Bible in one of classes in High School. Most of us just thought it was rediculous.
