Re: 'We're married, we just don't have sex'
If neither of you feel desire, it is likely to be a hormonal malfunction, not a spiritually enlightened state.

But, I guess if you're happy with the way things are, keep going, I hope you can keep an option open, to have sex in the future.

Asexual relationships = friendship.

Marriage or partnerships (even just dating, haha) ought to take it further - to that bliss place you find with great sex. The most natural thing in the world for us humans. Why in the world you would call that 'disgusting' is beyond me.

But to each his own OP. As long as you're happy.

Not for me. I think "sex" is disgusting and only the under-developed minds crave it and/or need it.

I completely agree. It is a waste of time to chase sexual satisfaction. As the only purpose of your sexual organs is to ensure the survival of your bloodline, and not for pleasure.

Yes there are 'asexual' people, but that is simply their nature. Nothing to do with being more evolved.

I have desires, but one can relieve them without the need to share bodily fluids with another human. That's not to say I don't have sex with my girl, she needs it. I just don't.

Why wouldn't you use that word to differentiate between us humans?

How would you differentiate then, or would you differentiate at all?

What is the part in you which which feels 'threatened' by differentiating with words such as 'developed' and 'more evolved'.

It is sometimes not easy to understand each other, and this is especially true when younger people speak with ones who were here on this earth for a little bit longer.

With age, understanding changes, even the whole dialectic may change drastically, which means that the same words we use in everyday speak have different meanings for the one or other age group. Which or course doen't mean that we're on the same level, at least not on the same level of understanding and knowledge.

For example you are right when you say or ask 'who in their right mind would choose to live the way you claim to?'.

I guess nobody in the right mind would. No joke!

Therefore we may be judged as different or 'crazy'.

There's another side of the pond.

What does 'evolution' mean to you?

wow

lol

i think this is a question where no descriptive answers in regards to its workings and its outcome or destination can be given.... but this was not the question you asked... or is it?

Well, yes it is the question, you are saying we have different definitions, so what evolution means to you is likely to be different from what it is to me...
try your best to describe it, I know it won't be 100% accurate, but at least we'll get clearer on understanding.

You're an underdeveloped human, so of course you can't even begin to understand what I'm talking about :)

If you were so developed as you think you are you'd be beyond romantic love too, moran.

Re: 'We're married, we just don't have sex'
Well, OP, if you actually were as developed and evolved as you say you are, you would realize that there are different paths to spirituality. Demeaning other people and other paths just shows how arrogant and underdeveloped you truly are. And that has absolutely nothing to do with sex. I find sex to be boring, but I find stupid and arrogant people to be even more so.

Look you're just naturally prone to not have sexual desire, that just makes your whole struggle easier than other people. You know what spirituality really is? Overcoming the flesh while being hit by sensual stimuli constantly while in the physical world. The condition you're so proud of is not something you have achieved, if you're asexual that just came with your biology.

But something you could work to overcome is your pride, which is clearly very exacerbated, to the point in which you're just not willing to hear anything but your own high perception of yourself.
"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.
