I care but already have a big male alpha cat. If he knows to get in the dog house with the straw, I think he can keep way unless you live in a really cold climate.

Mine stays out all night sometimes. I suspect he has another home away from home somewhere. He is not fixed either but for some reason has never sprayed in the house. I hope to be able to afford to get him fixed soon.

Rig up a little dog house like thing in the back yard lined with some old towels if you give a shit about that little crap rat. Steal a recycle bin on garbage day from one of the neighbors, turn it upside down, cut a little door in it and stick it out on the back porch.
