8-9 hour earthwobble cycle ? check Polaris with the naked eye
My house is exact orientated in north - south direction.

In the evening I like to watch the sky.

When I look up and follow the front of my 4 floors building, I can see Polaris exact in line with the housefront.

Early in the morning things are different.
Then I can see Polaris 1-2 degrees more to the West.

Polaris star is wellknown for one important reason:It is in line with Earth axis, and therefore it marks the North

Therefore the Polaris star should be in the exact position, each day and night.Changing position within 8-9 hours is not to be expected..

Perhaps somebody can check this him/herself.

This scientific info gives us a 23000 year cycle.
Precession is the name for it.

Precession12,000 years from now the Northern Hemisphere will experience summer in December and winter in June because the axis of the earth will be pointing at the star Vega instead of it's current alignment with the North Star or Polaris. This seasonal reversal won't happen suddenly but the seasons will gradually shift over thousands of years

Any other evidence you can gather than just this simple test?

Im an amateur astronomer, I can set my telescope to Polaris and it will not move as the rest of the stars encircle. An easy way to test your theory is to go on Craigslist, find a cheap telescope and orient it to Polaris and witness this yourself.

Problem solved under 50.00

Thank you for your comment.
But

Its not a theory, its my own observation
And
I can do this observation with the naked eye (see titel)

Yeah, but this won't convince the rest of us. You need some tangible evidence. Even if that means setting your camera up to video tape over a few days or something similar.

No, sorry, you can't.

When a person stands still and observes the stars above head, his eyes need to adapt to the light, then the eye itself sees stars move from atmospheric distortion. Known as Fact.

We get alot of posts here on GLP from people who stare at stars and claim they move in the sky.....

YOU think you are standing in the same EXACT spot everytime you make an observation from your building, but you aren't.

A telescope proves them wrong everytime. Just use a scope, try it.

No you're wrong, it's almost in line with Earth axis but it's not(45' from it).

This is a good tip.

Us humans have relatively bad orientation!
