That's the company line, but if they're *blinded*, as scripture says, how can they be expected to make the right choice?! The problem is that you churchbots don't know the first thing about Mercy, because you actually think you've done something to merit salvation. You think you've made the right choice, and that all the wicked lost evildoers have deliberately chosen to make the wrong choice and therefore deserve annihilation/eternal torture. You guys think you're the author of your faith, instead of God, and thus have no problem heaping judgment on that awful, horrible Publican over there.
