WTF...........

In the week before his death on January 12, Prof Rawlings had begun to display similar symptoms. Dr Sivia agreed to let Prof Rawlings stay with him at his bungalow in Southmoor, near Abingdon, while Mrs Rawlings was on a training course in Philadelphia.

Died in a headlock? You've got to be f'ing kidding me?! These are grown men that are quite intelligent logical thinkers, I cant believe this for a second, if it was two little children it would be more believable. What the hell they try to make u think the two were wrestling or something..Dr. Sivia wouldnt hold his arms that tight and cut off Rawlings oxygen flow. Even so they would have to be doing this for an extended amount of seconds/minutes, therefore it wouldn't be accidental. "Goodbye cruel world" lol come on, It's like Rawlings discovered some truths about us humans huh, he looks like one to research conspiracies and such look in his eyes. Who the hell would hold him tight for 20 minutes, because he "stumbled" and "played dead", this is such a bullshit story you'd have to be calcified to believe this one!

Steven Rawlings died on January 11th, 2012 as you can see in the Wikipedia article about him:

Steven Gregory Rawlings (11 October 1961 - 11 January 2012) was an astrophysicist at the University of Oxford, where he held a Professorship in Astrophysics and a Fellowship at St Peter's College. He studied Physics and Theoretical Physics at St John's College, Cambridge and received his PhD in Radio Astronomy in 1988. He was one of the lead scientists in the Square Kilometre Array project.[1]

Rawlings died at the home of his close friend and colleague Dr Devinder Sivia, a Lecturer in Mathematics for the Sciences at St John's College, on 11 January 2012.[2][3] The coroner recorded a verdict of accidental death.[4] Sivia and Rawlings co-wrote the book Foundations of Science Mathematics, published in 1999 by Oxford University Press.[5]

Maybe THIS is the reason:

I wonder if he was Asperber's because those people have a tendency to snap and get violent. The kids do it regularly and some learn to control themselves as they mature and others need to take Prozac to stop their anxiety and help them maintain some normalcy. But they never get cured and are prone to periodic cycles their entire lives. They are also often very bright and enjoy math/science.

Strange but I knew I knew that name as soon as I saw it. I was even telling hubby I know that name. Weird. And seeing as it was news before now it makes sense as to why. So it was buried and brought up now. Why? Timeslip? Error in the machine? A warning to his partner? Hmmmmm.....

This is so wacked. I followed this closly back in January.

Never believed Dr. Sivia killed him, Rawlings own wife went on record to state the same.

Updates on this case went black after February, now 10 months later and we get an update that he said "Goodbye Cruel World" as Sivia was playing Hulk Hogan with his best friend???

Do they think we are that stupid?

This is super disturbing.

the email the killer sent ot his wife seems so weird.
but then after you've killed someone or something like that happens in front of you and YOU did it, then...what DO you say?
still the email was weird.
and to email it instead of call.
i don't know. it doesn't make sense.

also how can a person say "goodbye cruel world" if they are not getting enough oxygen?

i'm not saying this story is not plausible. it sort of it.
but it is bloody weird.

and the "sloppy" reporting on the dates of his death and stuff really don't make much sense to me.

something does seem odd about all of this. as i read the story i got this feeling at the end like something big had been left out. its possible that what the story says happened could be the truth as to what went down. of course it's also possible i could win the lottery and become a millionaire, just saying it's possible.

The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) is a radio telescope in development in Australia and South Africa which will have a total collecting area of approximately one square kilometre.[1] It will operate over a wide range of frequencies and its size will make it 50 times more sensitive than any other radio instrument. It will require very high performance central computing engines and long-haul links with a capacity greater than the current global Internet traffic.[2] It will be able to survey the sky more than ten thousand times faster than ever before.

With receiving stations extending out to distance of at least 3,000 kilometres (1,900 mi) from a concentrated central core, it will continue radio astronomy's tradition of providing the highest resolution images in all astronomy. The SKA will be built in the southern hemisphere, in Sub-Saharan states with cores in South Africa and Australia, where the view of the Milky Way Galaxy, is best and radio interference least.[3]

With a budget of €1.5 billion, construction of the SKA is scheduled to begin in 2016 for initial observations by 2019 and full operation by 2024.[4][5] The headquarters of the project are in Manchester, in the UK.

"Prof Rawlings had symptoms similar to an acute psychotic episode that had seen him sectioned the previous April, Oxfordshire coroner Darren Salter heard yesterday. Mr Salter said this followed an “increase in workload and stress levels” and Dr Sivia “acted in all times in self-defence and out of fear”.

Dr Sivia was contacted by university staff over concerns about Prof Rawlings’ welfare on the day of the fatal incident and offered to put him up at his Southmoor home.

But Dr Sivia said Prof Rawlings – who he met while both students at Cambridge – appeared to think he “had brought him home for sex”.

so this guy has an acute psychotic episode out of nowhere and the university staff think it best to send him NOT to the hospital but to his "friend'" house?

really????

if someone were having THAT severe of a psychotic episode why was he not rushed to hospital?

unless this was "ordinary" for him to have "acute psychotic episodes" that were out "self defense and fear"

then why was this man even still AT the university teaching???

how did he function in his job at ALL of he was THIS psychotic?
