IT isn't my fault I'm a disgusting fat ass. The wheat did it. NO. It isn't the 2 liters of Dr. Pepper I drink every day. It isn't the take out pizza, tacos, and cheeseburgers. Not the three bags of Lay's chips and the 3 super size fries I eat.

It has nothing to do with the fact that in the last three years I've rarely broken a sweat doing anything besides while deep frying shit in my hot kitchen.

It has nothing to do with the 5 gallons of sweat tea or the 3,500 calories my disgusting slob ass eats every day.

i think we should be able to decide what goes in our bodies.

so the milk thing really gets me pissed.
i've never had the opportunity to buy fresh whole milk that has not been treated and i feel angry that i cannot get it if i want to.

people get really riled when you start talking about food. it's amazingly personal and political. a lot like talking about hair. hair is another weird thing that people are adamant about "how it should be"

and nothing will start an argument faster than talking about food. i've learned that since being on the internet since 1995. it's pretty crazy topic.

i am fascinated by the personal and political way we treat food.

but we should, because "you are what you eat" this is absolutely true.

the way they are controlling the food supply right now makes me so angry i cannot even express it.

i'm not completely sold on the idea that ALL genetically modified anything is bad for you, however.

crossbreeding things...fine....but going right in and changing the dna structure of things seems to be playing a blind god.

what we need to do is start LISTENING to our bodies.
our bodies will tell us what is good or bad for us.

and there is no "one size fits all" diet for everyone.

i wish people would get that.

everyone of us has different needs. so while a raw vegan diet might be awesome for someone, a paleo diet is equally awesome for a different body type.

look into aryvedic medicine.
it's the most sensible one i have come across.

in it we all have 3 "doshas" vata, pitta, kapha. and balancing these 3 things is absolute key.

i know there is an eat for your blood type diet. i looked at that and it did not ring true for me.

but the aryvedic one did make complete and total sense.

some foods that are bad for some people are really good for others and vice versa.

there is really no "bad food", there really, in the end, is not eating in a balanced or sensible way.

the most IMPORTANT lesson tho on eating, imo, is to give thanks for what you have.
the mindset you have AS you are eating is complete and utter key to how your body processes food.

for instance, do not eat when you are angry.

and give thanks for whatever it is you have.

because everything is ENERGY , in the end. all is one, and a person who eats a twinkie with gratefulness and mindfullness will live a longer happier healthier life than a person who is constantly worried about poison and becoming obsessed with juicing and fasting and purging.

in the end, "there is no spoon" is what i am saying.

so, eat with gratefulness and without anger and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. it knows exactly what it needs.

they're not skinny because they're starving

their diet is based mostly on rice which is still genetically modified but maybe has less poisons than wheat

When I was a child in the 1980s I overheard some adults talk about the genetically modified wheat. Then I forgot about it for a while. Basically there was a pharmaceutical company that made special shots under code names for politicians, agents, and spies, so they can tolerate things, like the wheat effects. They also had shots for tolerating alcohol, and certain mushrooms. This was Reagan Administration knowledge. It's supposed to make happy people, plus give images of bread as happy food.

Quarter of a century later, I have a sensitivity to wheat, similar to celiac disease, where eating too much shuts down my digestive system and causes symptoms indicative of ADD, bipolar, and psychosis. Population control wheat?

I stopped eating bread about 3 months ago and I've never felt better. I was buying the fancy Ezekiel stuff too. My guts would hurt and I'd be nearly passing out from exhaustion at my work desk then shortly after exploding the bathroom. Unreal. After I stopped it all went away. Not eating pizza anymore sucks but I'm never going back.

It also angers me how daily staples are tampered with abandon in the name of "science." These scientists are killing us. The more documentaries I watch the more compacted my diet becomes. I'm currently juicing and it's wonderful. :)

I'm a horticulturist. Gliadin is a protein similar to gluten. Grains like oats, barley, and rye all have a similar protein. Even the ancient wheats like spelt, emmer, and einkorn all have gluten and gliadin. They don't have as much as our current wheat, but they had it, because without it you wouldn't be able to make chewy bread. Bread would just be like a brick.

Keep in mind that dough was traditionally lacgofermented before baking. This is sourdough bread. This process breaks down the gliadin and gluten into a more easily digestible form. The proteins are not "poisonous" by nature. It's just difficult for us to digest it when it hasn't been fermented first. When you have difficulty digesting something, you build up an "intolerance" to the proteins in that food. This is different than an allergy. An allergy is an autoimmune response, an intolerance is simply the inability to digest something, causing a reaction. Intolerance can range from unnoticeable to deadly, and can get worse and improve with time. Unlike allergies, an intolerance can be cured.

Without modern wheat, bread wouldn't have the great chewy texture and crumb that a loaf of French bread has. I believe everyone has an intolerance to unfermented grain proteins to at least some extent. If you moderate portion size and only eat real sourdough bread the intolerance should go away over time. There's plenty of real poisons in our food, but sourdough bread made from freshly milled wheat flour is not one of them.

I read the book a month ago and since then have eliminated almost all wheat from my diet. I eat corn and rice and potatoes in small amounts still, but I have lost 5 pounds effortlessly.

These conclusions about wheat are true. The new wheat is a changed food that indeed changes us. I tried it and it affected my health greatly. I got the book for my diabetic brother who still eats everything BUT wheat and he is a new less sickly man.

Not every ill person who gets feeling better on the no-wheat diet is a "disgusting slob ass." You seem to have some grudge against some fat slob in your life.

I now juice several times a week.

When I stopped eating wheat I dropped 3 dress sizes in 3 months going from a 12 to a 6 or 4. I have maintained for 2 years.

I also cut out beef, corn and sugar.

I was skinny my whole life but then gained 40 lbs in 2 months from predisone. Today's medicines such as Singular, Advair, Lipitor, etc make you super sensitive to glucose and make people pack on the pounds.


Stop the wheat - get healthy. When I stopped eating wheat I could breathe better, which in turn made me hit the gym harder and now I am a hard body! My stomach is rocks!

I intuitively eliminated lettuce and chicken meat from my diet and cured most of the problems except for the farts if I ate much wheat. (but I did not want to put 2 and 2 together at first)

Lettuce is sprayed with high fluoride pesticide I now find out, and chicken meat, well go figure, but I can't eat it or my energy goes down and I get sick.

Later a friend who is an MD heard my symptoms and recommended eliminating wheat from my diet. I did that and no more excess gas or digestion problems.

A person might be able to eat anything they want when they are younger, and then develop these intolerance's or allergies later in life.

Certain illness and medicines also change your body chemistry making people more sensitive or even allergic to wheat.

Eating sugar and wheat also makes Candida (a common fugus) grow out of control. A candida overgrowth will also cause people to grave wheat and sugars.

When people stop eating wheat and say they've stopped craving sugar it's usually because they are getting the Candida under control.

You can tell if you have Candida, if you have very bad gas with large amounts of it and stomach bloating that won't go away.

To reiterate from my post earlier, I stopped the wheat flour and attest that it was a good thing, but I now use wheat that has been sprouted about 3 days in my cooking with none of the problems I experience from common wheat flour.

I think the chemistry totally changes when it sprouts.

I've stopped eating wheat completely. For the most part I do not eat grains. Every now and then when we go out to dinner I may get s side of rice or a small corn torilla (which I know has a tiny bit of wheat) but other than that I avoid it. Quinoa is a good grain in moderation.

I can't tell you how much better I feel.... and look.

I know it sounds hard to cut out wheat, but you get used to it. For the most part I eat chicken, fish, veggies, fruits nuts and seeds. For breakfast each morning I have a protein drink made of rice, pea and soy with unsweetened almond milk. This is a particularly yummy brand.

If you are interested in going wheat free I would suggest you look at "Clean Eating" cook books. One of my favorites is by Tosca Reno.

look at the Italians (in Italy) they eat lots of carbs...pasta and bread and patisseries but they are not fat...why?? because they use the durium wheat which is the original wheat used for thousands of years.

IT isn't my fault I'm a disgusting fat ass. The wheat did it. NO. It isn't the 2 liters of Dr. Pepper I drink every day. It isn't the take out pizza, tacos, and cheeseburgers. Not the three bags of Lay's chips and the 3 super size fries I eat.

It has nothing to do with the fact that in the last three years I've rarely broken a sweat doing anything besides while deep frying shit in my hot kitchen.

You relay on what so called scientists and nutrition experts have been paid to tell you for nearly a generation now with no regard to actual empirical evidence.

We went from a diet higher in natural fats and protein from the 40s to todays inverted pyramid of more grains,less fats.
The data shows that the explosion in heart disease,cancer,auto immune diseases and diabetes correlates to that change in diet.

My daily calorie intake is about 2600. I am in my upper 40s with no exercise regime in place.
My health is periodically monitored and measured by Aviation Medical Examiners--MDs authorized to certify pilots to fly.Every 6 months I go in,get poked,prodded and measured.

My results from my diet change are documented.
My Doctors could not believe the change.

I cut out all wheat and all carbs. I eat about 5 eggs for breakfast fried in butter,with a slab of meat.
Usually no lunch because I am not hungry.
Dinner involves more fatty meat and maybe 2 eggs with a green salad.

Snacks if needed are nuts.

Results? I lost 44 pounds in 2 months.
My energy sky rocketed
My sleep needs decreased
My arteries are squeaky clean
I look about 10 years younger

Its all about the carbs in general.The worst of the carbs is grains imho. There is nothing wholesome or good for you in wheat anymore.

You can argue calories as much as you want but I know from my own experience that it is not the amount of calories but the amount of carbs that causes these epidemic health issues and weight gain.

20 kilos weight loss in 2 months averages to 10 kilos a month. That is 10000 grams of fat. 1 gram of fat has 9 calories.
90 000 calories in 30 days equals 3000 calories a day that burnt off my body.
Plus my 3000 calories of high fat food during that phase of my diet equals 6000 calories a day that my body somehow consumed.

With no exercise.
The calorie model of weight loss is just wrong.
It is the carbs.
And modern wheat is made to addict you to buy more product.They are not too interested in your health or vitality or longevity.
