The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. |

Same with taking a shower. Your skin, the largest organ, absorbs what is in the shower water, including flouride. The fact that you abosrb it is the premise behind sublingual tablets that you allow to absorb under your tongue, and of the flouride in your toothpaste. Your tooth pain is an issue in itself. I have a friend who's dentist wanted $2500.00 to fix her gums, well she couldn't afford that. She used tea tree on her gums everyday and when she returned to her dentist in 3 months, he admitted her gums were cured. natural remedies for sensitive teeth include the following: Vitamin B1 or thiamine: This vitamin will help to reduce your tooth sensitivity and pain. Individuals suffering with tooth sensitive can take about 100 mg daily. Be sure to check the dosage of vitamin B1 with your doctor. Calcium hydroxyapatite: It is a form of calcium that helps to restore the enamel of the tooth, thus reducing your teeth sensitivity. Clove powder: Take about one-fourth teaspoon of clove powder and add 3 to 4 drops of water to prepare a paste. Apply a little amount of clove powder on your sensitive tooth after every meal. This effectively helps to relieve sensitive teeth. Herbs: Mix equal amounts of liquid extracts of horsetail, fennel and white oat bark herbs. Apply a few drops on your sensitive teeth (make sure that you do not apply it on your cracked teeth). You can also use this herbs mixture to rinse your mouth every morning and evening. The horsetail decreases bleeding, fennel soothes the tooth nerves and the white oak bark cleans and tightens gums. Unless we filter our water we drink it, brush our teeth with it and bath/shower in it, where it's absorbed through our skin. Tom's w/o fluoride with a little baking soda is my system. I haven't had a cavity or problem with my teeth since the 80's and they're as white as anyone else's. Fluoride is a caustic substance and a by-product of aluminum and pesticide production. It's what (DOW and Monsanto) scrape out of their chimney's. Instead of paying to have it disposed of, they came up with "hey, it fights cavity's", and and started packaging and selling it to us in our water (unless you have your own well), anti-depressants, mouthwash and toothpaste. Brilliant! get rid of the cost of properly disposing of dangerous chemicals by marketing, packaging and selling it to us with the schtick that it' good for our teeth. With the added bennies of dosing the public with a psychotropic medicine without them knowing. Win win for the government (yep, Rumsfeld is a huge promoter of the crap) AND the chemical co's. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 28627766 12/01/2012 10:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Shoppers study ingredient labels to make sure what they eat and drink is good for them. But there is one ingredient label that is being overlooked -- the toothpaste ingredient label. Quoting: Person445 "You will brush your teeth 1,000 times per year or more, and each time you do, you will ingest some toothpaste. If you think that is not a problem, think again," says Dentist and Oral Health Expert Dr. Harold Katz. "Some of the ingredients in many commercial toothpastes are undeniably bad for you." Here is a short list of the basic harmful ingredients Dr. Katz says consumers should know: * FD&C blue dye No. 2. This dye is in many toothpastes, but the Center for Science in the Public Interest warns against it as it might be related to learning and behavioral issues, severe allergic reactions and other health problems. * Sodium lauryl sulfate. The American College of Toxicology says it can cause skin corrosion, irritation and canker sores. In lab rats, the ingredient led to depression, diarrhea and death. * Triclosan. The anti-microbial ingredient is listed as a pesticide and is used in OTC toothpaste and hand soap. But the Environmental Protection Agency demanded more research be conducted because of triclosan's negative effects on thyroid and estrogen levels. * Saccharin and aspartame. Both are artificial sweeteners, and both made the Center for Science in the Public Interest's list of additives to avoid. [link to www.nbc12.com] The SOLUTION Make your own! 1/4 cup baking soda 1/4 cup vegetable glycerin 1 Tbsp castille liquid soap A few drops of tea tree essential oil I even hear coconut oil works well!
