Do they have a big statue of de Gaulle in every french Que. city, yet..? The conquering hero..?
Quoting: Waterbug LOL... Well, I dunno man, everywhere I go in the States, I see english/Spanish signs, so in that aspect, US is worse since they put up signs to help out all the illegals over there. Whereas here, we're just stupids idiots, making sure any travellers coming out of the airport have no fucking clue where to go since it's all french signs!!! And they are too blind to see what is happening here.. I recognized it years ago.. the first time I went to an ATM at my bank and I was asked.. english or spanish..? I remember as a kid, growing up in que., the trend was towards 'going along to get along'.. I had many french friends, still do, I don't blame them for being proud of their heritage. I blame the .gov for not taking a stand against segregation. The bastards drove all the english out of quebec.. bought up their properties and businesses for a song.. and declared themselves a french-only province. My hometown is a foreign place to me.. I fucking resent it.. I left in '76... as did just about everyone I grew up with. Je me souviens...
