While a few countries in the depths of Africa and one in South America continued the practice of Slavery for a while longer, it was generally stopped by 1900 all over the world - at least by law. The reality is that slaves were kept by various people in regressive regimes all over the world but at least it was officially outlawed in most places.

To see a modern nation re-institute slavery as part of their social "norm" and put such a thing into their constitution or governing laws is vial and so off base morally that it's almost laughable if it were not so horrible!

We're in that last seven year period and although we've probably been there for a year or more, we're just now seeing things like this happening that will open the whole worlds eyes to the fact that something is drastically wrong and we are going to see things get MUCH worse as we move toward the final days of human history on this planet. GOD gave us free will and most of us have made a mess of it. There is no fixing it now. The only answer is to see 2/3rds of humanity die and then Christ sets up his Kingdom on Earth for 1000 years - the final 1000 years of history before the final judgement when we see the old heavens and the old earth pass away.
