News from Egypt: Slavery to be legalized

It would seem that we are in the tribulation period described in Revelation. The last seven years before Christ's return to earth. If it is that horrible time in history, two thirds of humanity will die before the end of days. Some from wars, some from famine and disease, some from natural disasters (huge ones) and then the final battle of Armageddon ends all wars and results in peace at long last. However, what Revelation tell us we are going to go thru to get to that point is the most awful time in human history. This business of the Moslems in Egypt making slavery lawful again represents a new low in human history. Most of us in the free world thought such horrors were over in the 1800's when Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. that outlawed slavery in the US. The UK and most of Europe had already done so years earlier. While a few countries in the depths of Africa and one in South America continued the practice of Slavery for a while longer, it was generally stopped by 1900 all over the world - at least by law. The reality is that slaves were kept by various people in regressive regimes all over the world but at least it was officially outlawed in most places. To see a modern nation re-institute slavery as part of their social "norm" and put such a thing into their constitution or governing laws is vial and so off base morally that it's almost laughable if it were not so horrible! Yes SaveUSa- you are probably right. We're in that last seven year period and although we've probably been there for a year or more, we're just now seeing things like this happening that will open the whole worlds eyes to the fact that something is drastically wrong and we are going to see things get MUCH worse as we move toward the final days of human history on this planet. GOD gave us free will and most of us have made a mess of it. There is no fixing it now. The only answer is to see 2/3rds of humanity die and then Christ sets up his Kingdom on Earth for 1000 years - the final 1000 years of history before the final judgement when we see the old heavens and the old earth pass away. You know, as crazy and blatant as all this is throughout the world, I've come to the conclusion that we've either now entered the tribulation period prophesied by most all religions in some form or another.
Or, more possibly, something rather huge is getting ready to happen to our planet/existence, and most all of those PLACED in power have known this since they've been there (to some degree or another). The more they hype everything, the more distracted we become.
I don't necessarily subscribe to the 12/21/12 "end-of-the-world" date; however, I do believe that there is some substance to most everything that's been put out there for our consumption over the past 2000 years or so (whether it be Nostradamus, the Bible, or any other religious text) - and particularly now during the so-called "information age" via the internet. Mind you, I believe that we're fed just enough to somewhat prepare us, but only in half-truth form so nobody can logically discern the reality of things, which could lead to mass panic or maybe sufficient mass awareness to potentially divert it (if that's even possible)....
Regardless of the circumstances and misinformation, I firmly believe that we are all living within one of the most historic periods in the history of this planet, and we should all be both mentally and physically prepared for that....just don't implode when December 21st comes and goes with no cities falling into the sea....
