Rumors of a big discovery began swirling earlier this month, after an NPR story quoted Curiosity chief scientist John Grotzinger as saying that the rover's Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) instrument had recently gathered data "for the history books." Even though i'm not a conspiracy thinker I found it hard to believe NASA was allowed to share any grea findings with the world. It's a mess at it is...making religions rumble would be considered a hazard. (which is a rather painfull conclusion)..I certainly like to know if there is any sign of organic life out there no matter how simple or small to broaden our horizon... I just hope we haven't heard the last of this. |
